As the well was bubbling up water was dripping down my legs we had our pasha and started walking. I had gotten to the well earlier than most people because I walked there from the rose garden near the mission. I chose to walk barefoot because it would be more realistic. The walk was from Rocky Nook park to school. It was a hard and tough hike, especially because I didn't have shoes. That day I could only use water that I had collected in the containers. It was hard to not be able to flush the toilet. I feel that the activity taught me what it was like to be in Africa and collecting water.
